Social Justice Professional Development Workshops 

In early 2017, TODOS received a $3,500 Affiliate Grant from NCTM's Mathematics Education Trust (MET) Fund to create professional development in support of the NCSM/TODOS Joint Position Statement Mathematics Education Through the Lens of Social Justice: Acknowledgement, Actions, and Accountability. With the $2,500 allocated in the TODOS budget to these efforts, two professional development opportunities were piloted in late spring/early summer 2017 titled Teaching Mathematics Through Social Justice: Advancing Mathematics Learning for ALL: May 6th in New Mexico, and June 20th-21st in California. The California Mathematics Project also provided funding for the California pilot.
