First TODOS Student Affiliate Chartered
S.M.A.R.T. Girls (Sisters in Mathematics, Academics, Relationships, and Teaching) at California State University, Fullerton was officially chartered on January 17 as the first Student Affiliate of TODOS.

TODOS Strand During 2011 NCTM Annual Meeting
TODOS will have a strand of eight presentations during the NCTM Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, April 13-16. In addition, a number of TODOS members will speak as part of the President’s Series.

TODOS-TI Awards to San Diego Area Students
Nine students from the San Diego area received TODOS certificates and calculators donated by Texas Instruments during the GSDMC Annual Conference. Their teachers and TODOS sponsoring teachers were also recognized. GSDMC provided the meeting room.

Mathematics Teacher Retention Symposium
The California Mathematics Project will sponsor a national symposium on Mathematics Teacher Retention, March 22-24, 2012 at a hotel near Los Angeles International Airport. Contact Susie Hakansson at [email protected] for more information.

Latino Education & Advocacy Days (LEAD) Summit
The College of Education at California State University San Bernardino is sponsoring the 2nd Annual LEAD Summit on March 28. The event will also be webcast.
