Awards Committee

 

The Awards Committee is charged to:

  • Develop awards programs to recognize and honor teachers and contributing members of the organization and members of the community.
  • Develop awards programs to recognize students from underrepresented groups, in particular, Latina/o students at all levels.
  • Work with the Research and Publications Committee to honor researchers whose work has helped to promote TODOS goals.

TODOS currently has two awards programs: (1) Student Awards to recognize students from underrepresented groups, in particular, Latina/o students at all levels and (2) Iris M. Carl Equity and Leadership Award to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to the quality of mathematics education provided to underserved students, in particular to Latina/o students.
