Message From the TODOS President

It's here, the beginning of another school year. And with that comes the excitement of meeting our students for the first time. Our wonderful students come to us wondering, believing, thinking, and valuing. They come with school and community knowledge, and new lived experiences as a result of our nation's recent events. These rich experiences and knowledge will be unique to each child. And with that comes the hope that we will listen and respect without judging. …. Social Justice Quotes for July 2020 Enews

"Once social change begins, it cannot be reversed. You cannot uneducate the person who has learned to read. You cannot humiliate the person who feels pride. You cannot oppress the people who are not afraid anymore."   César Chávez
"There are lots of ways in which educators can become complicit in the production of the disparities, in the perpetuation of the achievement gap, because we simply haven’t acknowledged that there are ways in which some kids have been denied the opportunity to learn."

Pedro Noguera
