Poster: 5 Ways Being Bilingual Makes You Smarter

Download and share this fun poster with your students and colleagues to show how learning a second (or third) language can be beneficial. People who know two (or more) languages have an advantage. They can tell the difference between "embarazada" and "embarrassed." They can ace their math test and their science test all in the same day. They can even impress their friends with extraordinary feats of vocabulary as they discern new words from second-language roots. Enter your email to receive the free poster.

TODOS at Northern Nevada and Northwest Conferences

TODOS will have an exhibit booth at the Northern Nevada Math and Science Conference to be held at the Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV, on August 27th and one at the Northwest Mathematics Conference held at the Yakima Convention Center in Yakima, WA, on October 21st - 23rd. A TODOS member will also be speaking at both conferences. If you are attending either of them, consider supporting TODOS and volunteering to staff either booth by sending a message to the editor.
